KaVal Machining and Manufacturing Ltd. (formerly known as Malou Machining and Manufacturing Ltd.) is a manual and CNC machine shop that was incorporated in mid-2007. The company’s machining services cover a broad range of skill sets in the manufacturing industry. The business is a subsidiary of KaVal Energy Services Ltd. (www.kaval.ca), which is an organization that provides services to the oilfield industry in various locations across Canada.
 
KaVal Machining’s current facility is 2,500 square foot facility has various manual machines including ram turrets, milling machines, lathes, drill presses, a MIG welder and automatic saws. KaVal machining will expand into a new 8,000 square foot facility in early November and the business will be purchasing computer numerical control (CNC) machines to increase production capacity (CNC milling and CNC lathes).
 
The manual machining capabilities prototype development, machine repairs, machine parts and small production runs with manual machining equipment. The CNC equipment is scheduled to be purchased in mid-November 2001. The machine shop will have the capacity to handle projects in oilfield equipment and repair, medical devises furniture, consumer goods, military equipment and machinery, railway equipment as well as vehicles and motorsports applications.
